The industry is shifting from demonstration to scale. In February, MIIT unveiled China's first full-industry-chain standard system; in June, it launched a joint action with SASAC to drive 100+ application scenarios and ten-thousand-unit deployment.
Scaling exposes core bottlenecks—over 50 MCUs per robot, and latency 7× that of industrial robots due to 8–15 heterogeneous protocols. The race is a system-level contest of "brain, nerves, muscles, and skeleton." Following the success of the first Humanoid Asia in September 2025, hailed as the industry's annual barometer, the Asia Humanoid Robotics Innovation Week debuts in Shanghai in November 12th-13th 2026. Featuring two parallel conferences—Communication and Materials—under the theme "Stronger Chips, Smarter Connections, Lighter Materials," the Week brings together OEMs, chip designers, communication providers, material suppliers, and research institutes to chart the course for industrialization.
